Grant Cardone Became the King of Sales—Here's How

One simple strategy to turn you into the thought leader of your space.

How many entrepreneurs have you met who get thanked by people wherever they go?

“Man, I used to think the sky was the limit. After meeting you, I learned that the sky is the floor.”

“You changed my life, Grant!”

I am talking about Grant Cardone.

Serial entrepreneur (he runs like…20+ businesses), Real Estate Investor, and 7x New York Times best-selling author.

Oh, and also named the #1 marketer to watch by Forbes Magazine.

For those who don’t know him, wait…

…let me put on my Ancient philosopher persona:

Grant Cardone. A name that reverberates throughout the realms of entrepreneurship and personal branding with seismic impact. In the landscape of contemporary business, he stands as a colossus, a titan whose influence spans continents and industries.

Okay, that was lame.

But seriously, Cardone has built an empire from the ground up, becoming a household name for success.

From his bestselling books and seminars (that are electrifying, btw) to his digital presence.

The question we’re all asking …

How did he reach this point ??

Last year, Grant did this viral tweet where he listed 25 things that led to his success as an entrepreneur.

Well, guess what?

All of them, in one way or the other, are related to him building a personal brand.

Grant has said it again and again, that building a personal brand has been the central pillar of his success.

But after researching his content for hours, I concluded that there is one big strategy behind it all.

And you can become an authority leader in your industry just by following that one strategy.

What’s that, you ask?

It’s called:

Show, Don’t Tell

As entrepreneurs, we have this idea in our heads that our free content should be based on theories, not execution.

Why?

Note that I didn’t just say expertise.

I said expertise in action.

Have you ever seen those Wolf of Wall Street-styled Grant Cardone live sales calls?

You totally should.

Even if you’re not interested in sales.

They’re hella entertaining.

Basically, Grant is the living embodiment of “I’ll show you what I can do, LIVE.”

That means:

He goes on stage every week.

Takes a random house location. Pick out the details. Structure deals and do live sales calls… IN FRONT OF THE AUDIENCE.

Isn’t that crazy?

Now, I know I know….there are other factors involved here.

His content quality, consistency, storytelling, and all the things every personal branding coach talks about.

But this one strategy alone can get 50% of your job done.

Here’s how you can start applying the ‘Show Don’t Tell’ technique

Here are some examples for you to look at in order to apply this framework in your business based on your industry.

  1. Food Industry

Instead of just describing the quality of ingredients used in your restaurants, create behind-the-scenes videos showcasing the chef sourcing fresh produce from local farmers and preparing meals from scratch in the kitchen.

  1. Fitness Industry

Rather than simply promoting workout routines of your gym, livestream sessions with clients, demonstrating proper form and technique while explaining the benefits of each exercise in real-time.

  1. Fashion Industry

Instead of just showcasing photos of your clothing line, create videos showing a person wearing normal clothes vs your clothes.

  1. Photography / Advertising / Production Industry

Instead of just displaying a portfolio of images, create behind-the-scenes videos showing your creative process, from setting up shots to editing the final images, giving clients insight into your unique style and approach.

  1. Real Estate Industry

Instead of just listing properties for sale, Create virtual tours or host live walkthroughs of homes, giving potential buyers a comprehensive view of the property and its features.

  1. Consulting Industry

Rather than just discussing your expertise in a particular area, Offer free seminars where you provide actionable advice and solutions to common problems faced by your target audience.

  1. Entertainment Industry

Instead of just promoting upcoming shows or events, share bloopers, rehearsal videos, and failed scenes giving fans a glimpse into the preparation and dedication that goes into their performances.

And just like that…

We’ve covered the #1 personal branding secret of Grant Cardone.

I hope you will apply this in your content journey.

I know 99% of you still won’t do it. (RIGHT???)

But you know, worth a try.

I firmly believe that reverse engineering the top leaders of the industry can create magic for your personal branding journey.

And that’s what I promise to bring to your life. Magic.
